How to Use

To ensure optimal usage and effectiveness of the Retinol Under Eye Cream, please follow these directions:

1. Start with a patch test: Before using the eye cream, it is advisable to perform a patch test on a small area of your skin to check for any adverse reactions or sensitivity. If no negative reactions occur, you can proceed with regular use.
2. Cleanse and dry the skin: Ensure that your skin is clean and dry before applying the eye cream. Gently cleanse the eye area and pat it dry with a clean towel.
3. Use before applying face moisturiser: The eye cream should be applied before your face moisturiser. This allows it to be properly absorbed and provides targeted benefits to the under-eye area.
4. Dispense a pea-sized amount: Squeeze a pea-sized amount of the eye cream onto your fingertips. A little goes a long way with this concentrated formula.
5. Gently pat around the eye area: Using your ring finger, gently pat the eye cream around the entire eye area, starting from the inner corner and moving towards the outer corner. Avoid applying the product too close to the lash line.
6. Allow absorption: Allow the eye cream to fully absorb into the skin for approximately 15 seconds. This will ensure that it is effectively absorbed and begins working its magic.

When using an eye cream with retinol, it's essential to start with a low concentration and gradually increase usage to minimise any potential sensitivity.

Note: If you are new to using retinol, you may experience a mild tingling sensation upon initial application. This is normal and to be expected as your skin adjusts to the retinol. However, if you experience any persistent discomfort or irritation, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. The retinol eye cream should not be used on sunburned or excessively irritated skin. Allow your skin to heal before incorporating the eye cream into your routine.

Retinol may increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight. While using this product, it is important to apply sunscreen and take appropriate sun protection measures during the day. If you experience excessive peeling, redness, or any other form of irritation, discontinue use of the eye cream immediately and consult a dermatologist.
