These labels aren’t just decorative—they’re regulated, certification-based marks that tell you how Australian a product really is. The green kangaroo in a gold triangle is at the core, but it’s the text and bar chart beneath it that provide the real detail.

This mark is used for products like fresh fruit, vegetables, grains or meat. It means the product was entirely grown and harvested in Australia. The kangaroo icon and bar chart indicate Australian origin, while the text confirms it’s 100% Aussie grown.

This is the most rigorous claim. To use this label, all ingredients must be Australian, and all manufacturing processes must happen in Australia. It’s typically used for food products and produce that are 100% sourced and processed locally.

This label means the product was substantially transformed in Australia, even if some ingredients or components are imported. The bar chart indicates what percentage (by weight) of ingredients are Australian. The text will usually say something like “Made in Australia from at least 90% Australian ingredients.”
