With the rise of infectious diseases, health and hygiene have become increasingly important as people have become more aware of the link between cleanliness and good health.
As a result, the demand for hygiene products has increased significantly in recent years. People are looking for better quality products that can help them maintain good hygiene practices, such as hand sanitisers, disinfectants, and cleaning products.
Ross Macdougald and his team at BioInnovate responded to this demand by developing new and ground-breaking products that are more effective and efficient than ever before - ViroCLEAR.
One of the standout products from BioInnovate's ViroCLEAR range is the Sanitiser & Protectant fogger. This innovative product is designed to make sanitising large areas an absolute breeze. The fogger is hands-free, which means you can simply set it up and let it do the work for you!
You’ve read it - it’s a hands-free sanitising device. With the Sanitiser & Protectant fogger, you can quickly and easily sanitise large areas, such as offices, schools, and public spaces, without having to touch anything. This feature is particularly important in today's world, where hygiene and safety are paramount. The hands-free feature not only saves time and effort but also minimises the risk of cross-contamination, making it a great option for high-traffic areas.
The cost of home sanitation using sanitisation services in Australia can vary depending on a number of factors, including the size of the home, the level of cleanliness required, and the specific services requested. On average, homeowners can expect to pay anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars for a professional sanitisation service.
While professional sanitisation services can be effective, they can also be costly. Using a ViroCLEAR room fogger is a cost-effective alternative that provides a thorough and effective clean, without the need for professional services or expensive equipment.
Another cost-saving benefit of using a ViroCLEAR disinfectant fogger is that it can help to reduce the need for other sanitisation products. Once the fog has settled on surfaces, it is enough to provide a protective barrier against harmful pathogens (we recommend using the product once a week). This means that homeowners won't need to use as many sanitisation products between fogging sessions, saving more money on cleaning supplies.
Working much like a cockroach bomb or flea bomb, at the touch of a button, the room disinfectant air fogger dispenses a fine mist of antimicrobial protection, which coats surfaces and creates a protective barrier against bacteria and viruses.
While both products work by releasing a mist or fog into the room, it's important to note that they are designed for different purposes. Cockroach bombs are meant to kill crawling insects like cockroaches, whereas ViroCLEAR disinfectant foggers are designed specifically for disinfection against germs and viruses.
While the fogger's mist is able to reach all areas of the room, including hard-to-reach spots like corners, cracks, and crevices, it is important to note that the disinfectant room fogger should only be used in well-ventilated areas to avoid inhaling the mist.
Simply press the button and wait 10 minutes for the contents to disperse. Let the room settle for 30 minutes, after which the space will be effortlessly sanitised without the need for the laborious, time-consuming wiping down of all the surfaces.
By leveraging the power of Mother Nature, the inventor, Ross Macdougald from BioInnovate, was able to create a plant-based, non-toxic disinfectant spray for rooms that is safe to use around children, pregnant women and the elderly.
He discovered that by adding chamomile and extracts of native lemon bush to the formulation, he could reduce the active ingredient of benzalkonium chloride (BKC) to just 0.12% w/w – the same level as used in eye lens solutions and nasal sprays. In comparison, many other sanitisers include up to 2.1% w/w of BKC which can lead to skin sensitisation, and with continued use, can be corrosive on the surfaces they are meant to treat.
“This unique disinfectant fogging solution has so many applications and is a game changer for healthcare, aged care, childcare, education, gyms, transport and any indoor space that requires sanitisation,” says Daniel Seldon from Aussie Pharma Direct, distributor of the Australian-made, ViroCLEAR suite of products.
“With the present level of staff shortages across Australia, anything that lightens the load on workers and allows them to work more efficiently is a welcome addition in anyone’s books. Plus, it’s all very well to clean surfaces, but the ViroCLEAR disinfectant fogger also cleans the air you breathe by killing airborne pathogens, something not ordinarily possible with a sanitiser,” he says.
ViroCLEAR is a product that is 100% Australian-made and manufactured using cutting-edge technology and superior quality materials. The dedication and commitment of the BioInnovate team to creating a top-of-the-line hygiene product have paid off, with ViroCLEAR rapidly gaining popularity and recognition across Australia.
“In a recent independent stamp of approval, we were excited to learn that ViroCLEAR had been announced as a finalist under the category of Best Retail Product Innovation in the Finder Awards 2022,” says Seldon.
