About the Products

What types of products does Allay Organics offer?

Allay Organics offers a targeted skincare range developed to support and calm sensitive and reactive skin. The full range includes:

  • Calm Cream – a rich, hydrating cream designed to soothe irritation and dryness
  • Calm Cleanser – a gentle, non-stripping face and body cleanser
  • Supersede Recovery Oil – a fast-absorbing facial oil that strengthens the skin barrier
  • Scalp Therapy – a serum formulated to calm irritated, flaky, or dry scalps
  • Manuka Glow Balm – a rich, nourishing balm for stubborn dry patches and skin repair

At Aussie Pharma Direct, we currently stock everything in the range except the Manuka Glow Balm.

What skin concerns are Allay Organics products designed to help with?

Allay Organics is designed to soothe, hydrate, and support skin prone to chronic irritation and inflammation. The products are suitable for addressing skin conditions such as eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, dry and flaky skin, and general sensitivity or redness. The formulations aim to calm flare-ups while restoring the skin barrier over time.

Are Allay Organics products suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Allay Organics was specifically formulated for sensitive and reactive skin types. The products contain gentle, plant-based ingredients that support the skin’s natural barrier without harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, or known irritants. They are also free from steroids, sulphates, parabens, and other common triggers.

Are Allay Organics products suitable for rosacea?

Yes! Many customers with rosacea have found relief using Allay Organics products.

Julie, the founder of Allay Organics, often recommends the following routine:

Cleanse with Calm Cleanser
Follow with Calm Cream and/or Supersede Recovery Oil

These products are formulated to soothe and nourish sensitive skin, making them a great choice for those managing rosacea. If you’re unsure, we always recommend doing a patch test first or consulting a dermatologist for personalised advice.

To make it easier to get started, we’ve also created a Rosacea Skin Care Bundle featuring these recommended products — perfect for those looking for a complete, gentle routine.

Can I use Allay Organics products if I have severe psoriasis or eczema?

While Allay Organics products are specifically formulated and indicated for mild to moderate psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, minor burns, acne, and other sensitive skin conditions, it is essential to note that they may not guarantee relief for severe skin conditions. While the gentle and nourishing properties of our products may provide soothing effects for some users, there is no assurance of significant relief for severe symptoms.

For severe psoriasis, eczema, or other intense skin conditions, stronger prescription products may be necessary. We highly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider or dermatologist to determine the most appropriate and effective treatment plan for your specific condition.

Are these products safe for children or babies?

Yes, Allay Organics products are safe for use on children and babies. The steroid-free, gentle formulations are ideal for delicate skin and can be used as part of a regular skincare routine for little ones experiencing dryness, irritation, or sensitivity.

Are Allay Organics products fragrance-free or naturally scented?

Allay Organics products are naturally scented, thanks to the botanical extracts and plant oils used in the formulations. There are no added artificial fragrances or perfumes, making them suitable for sensitive skin and those sensitive to synthetic scents.

Are the formulas dermatologist tested or clinically proven?

Yes, Allay Organics formulas are dermatologically tested to ensure they are safe for sensitive and reactive skin. But beyond that, what truly sets the range apart is the rigorous development process behind it.

The brand’s founder, who comes from a scientific research background, dedicated over 10 years to perfecting the formulation for what would become the Calm Cream. During that time, thousands of botanical extracts from across the world were tested — with a goal to create a steroid-free, natural solution that could offer real relief and help the skin heal gently and effectively.

This deep research-driven approach adds an extra layer of credibility and confidence to the Allay Organics range, especially for those looking for natural alternatives to medicated creams.

What makes Allay Organics different from other skincare brands?

Unlike many products aimed at managing eczema and dermatitis, Allay Organics is completely steroid-free. The formulations are designed to provide long-term support for the skin without creating dependency on corticosteroids or synthetic medications. With a focus on skin barrier repair, hydration, and natural soothing botanicals, Allay Organics offers a gentler, plant-powered alternative that still delivers noticeable relief.

Are Allay Organics products Australian-made?

Yes, Allay Organics products are proudly Australian-made and owned. The entire range is formulated and manufactured in Australia, ensuring high-quality standards, ingredient transparency, and ethical production. Supporting Allay Organics also means supporting local innovation and a brand that truly understands the needs of Australian skin.

Can the Calm Cream be used on the face as well as the body?

Yes, absolutely! The formula is gentle enough for use on delicate facial skin, yet powerful enough to address skin concerns on other parts of the body. You can apply Calm Cream to areas such as the arms, legs, torso, and even the soles of your feet, including your scalp!

Can I apply the Calm Cream to my scalp, and if so, how do I do it?

Yes, you can definitely apply Allay Organics Calm Cream to your scalp by considering using it as a hair mask. Gently massage the cream into your scalp and leave it on for 20-30 minutes to allow the soothing ingredients to work their magic, then you can wash it off with a mild shampoo.

Is it okay for me to apply the Calm Cream on a newborn’s skin?

Yes, Allay Organics Calm Cream is safe for use on a newborn's skin, however, it's always recommended to perform a patch test before applying any new product to a baby's delicate skin. If any redness, rash, or discomfort occurs, discontinue use immediately. In the rare event that irritations persist, it's advisable to visit with your paediatrician.

How long does it take to see results with Allay Organics Calm Cream?

The timeframe to observe results with Allay Organics Calm Cream varies from individual to individual and depends on the extent of the skin condition. The Calm Cream formula has been carefully formulated to exclude many known irritants while incorporating supporting extracts to assist in skin repair. Typically, improvement can be noticed within the first week of consistent application, especially when applied 3-4 times a day. For optimal results, we recommend continued use for at least 2-3 months to experience the full benefits of the Calm Cream.

Can the Calm Cleanser be used as a standalone product, or is it recommended to be used with other Allay Organics products?

Yes, the Allay Organics Calm Cleanser can certainly be used as a standalone product. Its gentle and soothing formulation makes it suitable for daily cleansing, providing a refreshing experience for your skin. However, for the best results, especially if you have sensitive skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema, we recommend incorporating the Calm Cleanser into a comprehensive skincare routine with other Allay Organics products.

Why is the Calm Cleanser foam-free?

The absence of foam helps maintain the natural, plant-based integrity of the product. Many conventional foaming cleansers contain harsh foaming agents and sulphates, which can strip the skin of its natural oils and potentially irritate sensitive skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema.

Are all Allay Organics products organic?

Although Allay Organics products aren't exclusively certified organic, the brand places a strong emphasis on premium ingredients. Approximately 90% of the components used in their formulations are derived from natural or plant-based sources.

Can I use Allay Organics products during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Yes, you can certainly use Allay Organics products during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, however, when it comes to breastfeeding, we recommend avoiding the application of either the Supersede Oil or Calm Cream around the chest area to prevent accidental ingestion by the baby.

I'm currently using prescribed topical steroids to treat my skin condition. Can I use Allay Organics products in the mix?

It is not advisable to mix topical steroid creams with any kind of skincare products, including those from Allay Organics. Topical steroids work by suppressing inflammation and can have specific interactions with other ingredients. Combining them with additional skincare products may alter their effectiveness or lead to unintended consequences.

If you are currently using prescribed topical steroid creams, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before incorporating any new skincare products into your routine

Are all Allay Organics skincare products vegan-friendly?

Not all Allay Organics skincare products are vegan-friendly. While the brand is committed to using high-quality, plant-based ingredients in many formulations, certain products may include non-vegan components. For example, the Calm Cream contains beeswax and honey.

Do Allay Organics products contain any harmful chemicals or additives?

No, Allay Organics products do not contain any harmful chemicals or additives. Allay Organics formulations are specifically designed to be free from Steroids, Parabens, Fragrances, Colours, Alcohol, Paraffin, Mineral oils, Petrochemicals, Palm Oil, Sorbitol, Silicones, PEGS, Sulphates, and Essential Oils.

Ingredients & Formulation

Why is the Calm Cleanser foam-free?

The absence of foam helps maintain the natural, plant-based integrity of the product. Many conventional foaming cleansers contain harsh foaming agents and sulphates, which can strip the skin of its natural oils and potentially irritate sensitive skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema.

Are the ingredients vegan and cruelty-free?

Allay Organics products are cruelty-free, meaning they are never tested on animals at any stage of production. The brand is committed to ethical and responsible formulation practices.

However, not all products are strictly vegan. For example, the Calm Cream contains beeswax, which is a naturally derived ingredient from bees and therefore not considered vegan. Beeswax is included for its skin-protective and emollient properties, helping to create a breathable barrier on the skin that locks in moisture and supports healing..

Do the products contain any steroids or cortisones?

No, Allay Organics products are completely steroid-free and contain no cortisone or other medicated ingredients. This is a key difference from many over-the-counter or prescription creams commonly used for eczema or dermatitis. The brand was developed as a non-steroid alternative to support skin healing naturally without the long-term risks of topical steroid dependency or withdrawal.

What active ingredients are used and what do they do?

Allay Organics products feature a powerful blend of natural active ingredients designed to soothe, repair, and support sensitive or compromised skin. Some of the key active ingredients across the range include:

  • Aloe Vera Extract – Known for its deeply hydrating, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s particularly effective in calming irritated or sun-exposed skin.
  • Liquorice Extract – Helps to reduce redness, calm inflammation, and support even skin tone, making it ideal for skin conditions like eczema and dermatitis.
  • Cucumber Fruit Extract – A natural skin soother and hydrator that refreshes and calms sensitive skin.
  • Ginger Root Extract – Provides antioxidant protection and helps to improve skin tone and texture while reducing irritation.
  • Willow Bark Extract (Salix) – A natural source of salicin, which has anti-inflammatory and exfoliating effects to support clearer, healthier skin.
  • Nettle Extract – Traditionally used to calm inflamed skin and support overall skin resilience.
  • Chamomile Oil – Offers gentle calming effects for delicate and irritated skin, with anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties.
  • Vitamin E (Tocopherol) – A potent antioxidant that nourishes and protects the skin barrier from environmental stressors.
Are the products non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores)?

Yes, Allay Organics products are non-comedogenic and formulated to be lightweight and absorbent. The oils and emollients used — like jojoba oil and squalane — are structurally similar to the skin’s own sebum, which allows them to hydrate effectively without blocking pores or causing breakouts, even in acne-prone or combination skin types.

Usage & Application

How do I use Allay Organics products in a daily routine?

Allay Organics products are designed to be easily incorporated into your daily skincare routine. Begin with the Calm Cleanser to gently remove impurities without stripping the skin. Follow with Calm Cream to hydrate and soothe irritated areas. If you're targeting dry or damaged skin, apply the Supersede Recovery Oil after cleansing and before moisturising. For scalp concerns, use the Scalp Therapy treatment as directed. These steps can be repeated morning and night, or as needed depending on your skin's condition.

Can I use multiple Allay Organics products together?

Yes, Allay Organics products are formulated to work synergistically and can be safely layered. For example, you can apply Supersede Recovery Oil followed by Calm Cream to lock in moisture and provide barrier support. Similarly, Calm Cleanser and Scalp Therapy complement each other when addressing sensitive skin or scalp issues. Always start with lighter products like cleansers or oils, and finish with moisturisers or targeted treatments.

Can I apply the Calm Cream to my scalp, and if so, how do I do it?

Combining them with additional skincare products may alter their effectiveness or lead to unintended consequences.

If you are currently using prescribed topical steroid creams, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before incorporating any new skincare products into your routine

Can I apply makeup or sunscreen over the products?

Absolutely. Once fully absorbed, Allay Organics creams and oils create a smooth, hydrated base that allows for easy application of makeup or sunscreen. In fact, applying sunscreen as the final step in your routine is encouraged to help protect sensitive or compromised skin. Be sure to allow the product to settle for a few minutes before layering other skincare or cosmetic products.

Can these products be used on broken or inflamed skin?

Yes, Allay Organics formulations are gentle and calming, making them suitable for use on inflamed or compromised skin. They are particularly helpful for soothing flare-ups associated with eczema, dermatitis, or dry, irritated skin.

However, for broken skin or open wounds, it’s always best to avoid applying the product until the skin's slightly healed. Always do a patch test and consult a healthcare professional before use, especially for children or those with severe sensitivities.

How often can I apply the product in a day — is more frequent use better?

Allay Organics products can be applied as often as needed, depending on your skin’s condition and comfort. For most users, applying 2–3 times per day — morning, evening, and as needed throughout the day — is sufficient to maintain hydration and support skin recovery.

In cases of flare-ups or increased dryness, more frequent application may be beneficial. However, more is not always better — consistency over time is key. Always listen to your skin and adjust based on how it responds.

Do I need to cleanse before every re-application?

No, you don’t need to cleanse before every re-application. Cleansing 1–2 times daily is usually enough to remove buildup and prepare the skin for treatment. In between, you can reapply products like the Calm Cream or Supersede Recovery Oil directly onto clean hands and gently pat them into the skin to replenish moisture and calm irritation without overwashing or stripping the skin’s barrier.

What should I do if I experience a tingling or mild reaction after applying?

A slight tingling sensation can sometimes occur, especially if your skin is dry, compromised, or adjusting to a new product. This can be a normal response as botanical ingredients begin interacting with the skin.

However, if the tingling persists, becomes uncomfortable, or is accompanied by redness, rash, or swelling, it’s best to discontinue use and rinse the area with cool water. Always perform a patch test before first-time use, especially if you have known sensitivities. If symptoms persist, consult a healthcare provider or dermatologist.

Storage & Shelf Life

How should I store the products?

To maintain the integrity and effectiveness of Allay Organics products, it's best to store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Natural formulations can be sensitive to environmental conditions, so avoiding extreme temperatures—such as those inside a hot car or bathroom cabinet—will help preserve their texture and scent.

Can I still use the products if they’ve changed texture or smell?

A slight change in texture or natural scent over time can occur, especially since Allay Organics uses botanical-based ingredients and minimal preservatives. However, if the product develops an unusual odour, discolouration, or separates excessively, it may be a sign the product is no longer stable or within its best-use period. In that case, it’s safest to discontinue use and replace it with a fresh product.

What’s the shelf life of Allay Organics products?

Unopened Allay Organics products typically have a shelf life of 12 to 24 months, depending on the formulation. Once opened, we recommend using the product within 6 to 12 months for optimal freshness and performance. You can usually find the expiry or batch date stamped on the packaging for reference.
