Directions for use

Putting on your face shield:

Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser before handling your face shield.
Bend forward slightly and hold the elastic straps of the face shield, avoiding contact with the front of the shield.
Expand the elastic band with your thumbs and carefully place it behind your head, ensuring the foam headrest sits comfortably on your forehead.
Once secured, verify that the shield fully covers your face from the front and sides. There should be no gaps. The foam headband should rest approximately 3cm above your eyebrows, with the bottom of the shield extending below your chin.
The face shield should always remain in the lowered position for maximum protection. Never push it up onto your forehead.
If the shield feels loose, gently tighten the elastic straps on the sides for a more secure fit.

Removing your face shield:

Never touch the front of the face shield while removing it.
Take off any other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) you might be wearing and wash your hands thoroughly before handling the face shield.
Slightly tilt your head forward and grab one of the straps at the temple area. Gently pull the strap forward and over your head to remove the face shield.
After removing the face shield, wash your hands again with soap and water or use hand sanitiser.

Note:

It's advisable to not reuse the shield if there are visible signs of stain or if you're working in a high-risk environment. In such cases, dispose of the face shield safely and use a new one.
For low-risk environments, you can reuse the face shield with proper sanitisation and disinfection. Place it carefully in a clean bag or container for proper cleaning or disinfection procedures after use.
