      How to Use
      1. Before applying sunscreen, ensure your child's skin is clean and dry. It's best to wipe away any sweat, dirt, or previous sunscreen to create a clean canvas for protection.
      2. Squeeze a generous amount of sunscreen onto your palm and gently apply the sunscreen to their skin, starting with their arms, legs, and torso. Don't forget those often-overlooked areas like the back of the neck, ears, and tops of their feet.
      3. It's recommended to use about 35ml of sunscreen for full coverage. To give you an idea, this is roughly equivalent to one teaspoon of sunscreen for each arm, leg, front of body, back of body, and face (including the neck and ears).

Note: Avoid prolonged sun exposure, and never rely on sunscreen alone for protection. Wear protective clothing, including a broad-brim hat, use UV-protective eyewear/sunglasses, and seek shade whenever possible.

      Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the sunscreen last?

The sunscreen typically lasts for about 2 hours.

Over time, the sunscreen's efficacy may diminish due to factors like sweat, water exposure, rubbing, or natural wear-off. To maintain optimal sun protection, it is recommended to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours on your child's body or more frequently if they are swimming, sweating heavily, or towel-drying.

      When can babies wear sunscreen?

According to medical experts and dermatologists, it is generally recommended to avoid using sunscreen on babies under 6 months old. Their skin is highly sensitive and still developing, making them more susceptible to potential irritation or adverse reactions from sunscreen ingredients.

Instead of sunscreen, it's best to rely on other sun protection measures for infants. Here are some recommendations:

      1. Keep babies in the shade as much as possible, especially during peak sun hours (typically between 10 am and 4 pm).
      2. Dress your baby in lightweight, loose-fitting clothing that covers their arms, legs, and neck. Opt for wide-brimmed hats that shade their face, ears, and neck.
      3. Use sunscreen alternatives: If necessary, use physical barriers like umbrellas, stroller canopies, or sunshades to create shade and protect your baby from direct sunlight.
      4. Plan outdoor activities in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun's rays are less intense.

Always consult with your paediatrician or healthcare provider for personalised advice regarding sun protection for babies.

How to get sunscreen out of eyes?

If sunscreen gets in your eyes:

      1. Rinse your eyes with cool water.
      2. Remove contact lenses, if applicable.
      3. Continue rinsing your eyes for several minutes.
      4. Blink and roll your eyes to help flush out the sunscreen.
      5. Use preservative-free artificial tears to soothe your eyes.
      6. Seek medical attention if discomfort persists or worsens.
