Directions for use

Power On:
Press the power button to turn on the thermometer. Wait for the display to activate.

Select Mode:
Choose between Body Mode (for forehead temperature) or Object Mode (for surface or room temperature).

Position the Thermometer:
Hold the infrared thermometer approximately 3–5 cm away from the centre of the forehead. Ensure there is no sweat, hair, or makeup on the area being measured.

Take the Reading:
Press the measurement button once. The result will appear on the screen in less than 1 second.

Interpret the Results:

Normal temperature: Green backlight (typically below 37.5 °C)
Fever alert: Orange or red backlight with beep (above 37.5 °C)

Switch Units (if required):
You can toggle between °C and °F by pressing the mode or settings button.

Memory Recall:
To view previous readings, press the memory button to cycle through up to 35 stored results.

After Use:
The thermometer will automatically power off after around 10 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Cleaning: Wipe the sensor gently with a soft cloth or alcohol pad after each use. Do not immerse in water or use harsh cleaning agents.
