Directions for use

Remove the bin liner from its packaging. Ensure your hands are dry to maintain a good grip on the liner.
Lift the lid of your bin, ensuring it is clean and free of any sharp objects that could potentially damage the liner.
Carefully insert the ThinkPac bin liner into your bin. The liner is designed to fit snugly; adjust it, so it lines the interior of the bin neatly without any overhang.
When the bin is full or you're ready to dispose of the waste, carefully tie the top of the bin liner to secure its contents. Lift the liner out of the bin, tie it securely, and replace it with a new ThinkPac bin liner following the same steps.

What is the difference between LDPE and HDPE?

LDPE is more flexible and stretchable, making it ideal for medium-sized bins and lighter loads where flexibility is important.

HDPE is generally stiffer and offers higher puncture resistance, often used for larger or heavier waste loads.

Are the clinical waste bags suitable for sharps?

No. While the LDPE material provides good flexibility and tear resistance for general medical waste and soft contaminated items, these bags are not designed for loose sharps such as needles, scalpels, or broken glass.

Sharps should always be placed into an approved, puncture-resistant sharps container first. Once the sharps container is securely sealed, it can then be disposed of according to your facility’s clinical waste disposal procedures.

Using a rigid sharps container significantly reduces the risk of punctures, injury, and contamination during handling and transport. Always follow your workplace infection control and waste management guidelines when dealing with sharp waste.
