When should I use Soodox pain relief cream?

If possible, the trick is not to wait until your pain becomes chronic and unbearable.
We recommend applying the cream at the onset of pain to give your brain time to receive the message that your muscles, joints and nerves are being soothed. This ‘helping hand’ short circuits the pain messaging and assists the healing process by allowing your body to calm down and relax. Apply the cream throughout the day and also before you go to bed to allow your body to heal while you sleep.

Should I just use it on the areas of discomfort?

As our bodies work as an interrelated system of muscles, nerves, tendons and bones, pain in a particular area may actually be referred pain that originates from another part of the body. For this reason, we recommend not only applying the cream to the painful areas of your body, but also to the areas around the centre of the pain.

For example, if you have pain in your hand, for the best results, apply the cream to your whole arm from the shoulder down.

What is lidocaine cream?

Lidocaine cream is a topical medication that contains the active ingredient lidocaine, which belongs to the class of drugs known as local anesthetics. Lidocaine is mainly used to provide temporary relief of pain and itching, such as muscle soreness, mild joint pain, minor cuts, and burns.

Lidocaine works by blocking the signals of pain from the affected area to the brain, which numbs the area and reduces the sensation of pain. It can also help to reduce the swelling and inflammation associated with certain skin conditions.

Lidocaine products are commonly available as over-the-counter (OTC) products.

Does Soodox contain lidocaine?

No, the Soodox product range does not contain any lidocaine. It is a more natural alternative for a topical pain relief cream, containing naturally-derived ingredients in the formulation.

Are pain relief creams better than oral pain medication?

Pain relief creams such as the Soodox range relieves pain directly on the site of application by absorption through the skin. Oral pain medications, on the other hand, can provide more widespread pain relief, making it more convenient for people who are suffering multiple pains throughout the body and for those hard-to-reach pain areas that may not be more difficult for direct application of topical creams. Despite its convenience, oral pain medications may induce gastrointestinal reactions by irritating the lining of the stomach and intestines.

These two types of pain relief treatments have their own advantages and disadvantages, however, it's important to note that pain relief creams from Soodox only work as a temporary relief for period pain, muscle aches and soreness, joint pains, mild arthiritis symptoms and rheumatic pain and the likes, and should not be used as cure for these symptoms.

Can I use the pain relief creams while breastfeeding?

To our best knowledge, the Soodox products can be applied without interruption of breastfeeding. However, we recommend not applying the creams near the chest area before breastfeeding as this may cause accidental ingestion by the infant, and this may cause harmful effects to the health of your little one.

Can the pain relief creams be used with other medications?

The Soodox product range is made from natural ingredients, so it shouldn't interact with oral pain medications. However, we recommend not applying any of the Soodox pain relief cream with any other topical pain relief creams as this may reduce the effectiveness of the products in alleviating pain on the specific area of your body, or it may also cause adverse effect on the skin.
