Cancer Council Sensitive SPF50 Sunscreen -110ml

Description

A gentle guardian for those with sensitive skin!

Introducing the Cancer Council Sensitive Sunscreen – a sunscreen for sensitive skin. There have been so many challenges in finding suitable sun protection for those with sensitive skin conditions. For the most part, some sunscreens in the market either provide too little protection or the ingredients do not fit the skin which makes it even worse.

With its SPF50+ broad spectrum coverage, the Sensitive Sunscreen is considered the best sunscreen for sensitive skin, offering optimal UVA and UVB protection, ensuring that the skin stays shielded from the sun's harmful rays. One of the key ingredients in the formula is zinc oxide, a mineral known for its protective properties. It forms a barrier on the skin's surface, reflecting and scattering UV rays away from the skin. This mineral is often favoured for its soothing nature, making it a great choice for sensitive skin.

To further cater to sensitive skin, the sunscreen is enriched with aloe vera and Vitamin E, providing moisturising benefits to keep the skin hydrated and nourished. With sensitive skin in mind, the sunscreen is formulated to be free of potential irritants, hence, it is fragrance and paraben free. It has been specially formulated and dermatologically tested to ensure it is gentle on delicate skin.

For those who love water activities, the body sunscreen has been tested for 4 hours of water resistance. This means it remains effective even during swimming or water-based adventures!

    How to Use
    1. Before applying sunscreen, make sure your skin is dry and free from any moisture, sweat, or other skincare products.
    2. Apply the sunscreen approximately 20 minutes before heading outdoors. This gives it enough time to absorb into your skin and offers optimal sun defence. Patience pays off!
    3. For an average-sized adult, it's recommended to use about 35ml of sunscreen for full coverage - equivalent to one teaspoon of sunscreen for each arm, leg, front of body, back of body, and face (including the neck and ears).
    4. Take a sufficient amount of sunscreen in your hand and apply it to one area of your body at a time. Gently massage it into your skin using circular motions, making sure to cover all exposed areas. Don't neglect the often-overlooked areas like the ears and neck!

Note: Avoid prolonged sun exposure, and never rely on sunscreen alone for protection. Wear protective clothing, including a broad-brim hat, use UV-protective eyewear/sunglasses, and seek shade whenever possible.
